Shed those extra fats

Truth being told I am not a dietitian or nutritionist to really advice about dieting and losing weight..But I shall share those small stuffs that I do and recommend one doing in their daily routine to lose weight or get into shape..

For starters, DON'T GET INTO DIETS ALL OF A SUDDEN..

Just don't ever try going into a diet all of a sudden..This would make your systems go haywire and pretty soon you shall see yourself gobbling food as never before..

So take baby steps and don't expect great results within days of trying this steps..This method is going to make you lose weight, stay fit and be healthy...They help you stay in shape without making your system collapse..

Firstly, align your sleeping schedules...Don't make sleeping late turn onto a habit..If you usually wake up for  or work or studies around 7 or 8, then during weekends try waking up at least before 10..Don't have an irregular sleeping pattern..

Then, try drinking lots of water during the day..It keeps you hydrated and helps your body detoxify faster..

The most important thing is to try eating slowly..Choose the right amount of food avoiding fried stuff, carbs etc, and include more veggies onto your plate..Then try eating them as slow as possible..Munching each bite as much as possible..This makes the food easily digestible and eases pressure on the stomach..Also you shall notice you eating less amount of food this way and still feel content..

The trickiest part is to avoid fried stuff for the starting couple of weeks...Don't allow yourself to even go on a feast during weekend parties...

Try your best to squeeze in atleast a 10 minute workout or jog in the mornings...This helps you shape better and also great for relaxation..

If you start having those mid day cravings for snacks try having fruit salads or smoothies..

Try adding these changes onto your daily regime and you shall start noticing healthier changes...

Remember its not about starving that helps you shed fat , its planning that helps..

Make your hair, your playground...

From the time I heard this tagline in a shampoo advertisement, I really want to try coloring my hair..

For everyone's information my hair is long and pitch black...Adding to which it is incredibly straight..So since childhood I have always wanted my hair to have more life in them..

So recently I ended up searching for different colors and textures to incorporate into my hair..

And I did end up with a funky lot..

I really liked this own because it just brings along an aura of peacefulness and calmness..But this wouldn't suit me at all because of my complexion...

This truly has a mild Elven touch in it....

This is the best so far so...I really love the color, the highlights...Everything about it looks perfect

Now for the hairdos, I was planning to do something vintage style...

Looks really sublime and comfortable..

This is truly ball-material...Waiting for Prince Charming

That's definitely going to be my wedding hairdo :)

Fruit salad MANIAAAAA

I have a total craze for fruit salads because of two major reasons :

1) They are easy to make..
2) The are damn easy to make... :D

Plus, they bring along a numerous amount of health benefits too...That's like the bonus pack for me...

Without complicating the dietary benefits and nutritious values,I present to you the simplest reason why one should include fruit salads in their daily food routine..

Firstly, everyone know that they are very healthy and nutritious..Plus some of them are really good anti-oxidants (which inshort means they help protecting healthy cells from getting damaged by unstable molecules).

Secondly, including them in your daily routine cuts down your crave for snacks thereby helping you maintain shape and easily shed off extra calories..

That's the end of scientific or healthy part of the post....I promise

So how to include fruit salads in our daily routine??
Firstly, try not to picture fruit salads as mixture of 10-11 types of fruits neatly chopped, and  artistically assembled...This is definitely not going to help boost your spirit if you are a foodaholic..

Start initially by adding just 2 fruits into your salad...Choose the easy ones to cut and mix up..

I began by jumbling bananas and seedless grapes...The preparation time is less than  10 seconds but contains immense health benefits.

You can also make a salad out of strawberries, bananas and apples..This takes less than 1 minute to get ready...

When you find yourself relaxing one evening with not much chores to perform..Take your time to bring together a neat fruit salad with 5-6 fruits atleast do include kiwis, bananas, berries, apples, tropical fruits and anything you can lay your hands on..Try adding pineapples, dragonfruits, plums, mandarins, rambutans and all to get extra flavour...

During weekends, parties and get togethers try adding a fruit salad on the menu to lighten up the table and brighten up your health...If you have school going tiny tots that need to be tended to, try adding fruit salads in their tiffins for a healthier twist...

Not a gamer

From the time I was a tiny tot in this whole wide world I have despised GAMES..

Even during the times when my whole family loved playing SUPER MARIO, I never really got used to it..I infact felt so pity for Mario as he had to always risk his life to save that stupid princess time and time again...
Can't that stupid damsel in distress stay out of trouble..
NOTE : I personally hated the turtle's face..It looks so sick...And I hate the color of the flower..Makes me throw up...

Then when I went over to my sister's friend's home one day,I spotted her playing a Scooby-Doo game..I was a great fan of scooby doo cartoons back then so I tried playing the game for some time..To my dismay, I realized how I never had the gamer element on me that very day...Either I was out of controls or scooby was just acting weird all the time..

But still my road towards gaming arena wasnt over..If there's one thing that anyone should know about me is that I dont back off easily from things..

So then I came across a PC game name VirtuaCop 2...There can be two players in this game..One controls using the mouse and the other using the keyboard...Its basically a cop-thief shootout game..
Now this game did have my elements in it..For safer grounds I always played using the keyboard and my sister using the mouse..We really clicked well!!!

Then my gaming experience was limited again..I never tried playing any games until recently the whole gaming spectra for phones went haywire...

My sister started downloading all sorts of games and started playing them 24 x 7

Firstly, was the disastrous game which I totally hated...She played it quite well..But my timings weren't right so I always lost....

Secondly, was the most famous game of that time...I played it reasonably well..It wasn't that hard but I didnt feel that drawn towards playing it like others did..But the graphics and upgrades were awesome...

During this time I really grew fond of playing Sims Social in Facebook...It did pass time well..

But, its not that I hate all games that involved dashing, running, jumping etc...I did love particularly one such game because the main character was a mad granny and whenever I got extremely pissed off with my granny,I played this game as a means of quenching my revenge...I made the mad granny run as much as she could with an evil smirk on my lips...

There's also one such game which I play when I am extremely extremely bored with no alternative things to do..But its the favourite game of my 10 year old and 5 year old cousins...They do play this game well..

Also, during the recent years gaming in social networking sites is acquiring much status than gaming sites..But what I hate about these is the amount of game requests friends send you...It truly kindles all the anger and frustration inside of me...Worst of all the requests, were requests for two such games..They just jam up my notification lists...So I really never ever tried playing them because of the amount of requests I ended up getting...They are

Mid all this stuffs I had the chance to play Transformers game in my friend's laptop in my hostel..She did all the directing and running and moving parts..I just had to shoot down stuff...So it was a splendid thing to do

Lastly on this list is the game that everyone is mad about around me..One game that I still keep getting tonnes of requests to play..One game that my friends keep talking about..All they care amid serious conversations is unlocking the levels...So the very thought of playing this game vanished into thin air..Thanxx to my mates for making me hate a game they love soo much..

My Iftaar delights

As the month of blessings and mercy are about to get over...Let's all pray and hope that all our past sins shall be forgiven by the Oft-Forgiving and May our hearts get refueled by the spirit of Imaan...

The best part of fasting is not the Suhoor or the Iftaar but the part that lies inbetween them where we are constantly blessed by the Ar-Rahman..
Only during this Ramadan I did realize that sometimes the simpler things in life do bring immense pleasure and are more fulfilling than the adorned extravagant stuffs.
First realizing factor was the Suhoor time
I wished and planned to gobble down extreme amount of food as if it were a FEAST and not a FAST, but as fate may have it, I was suprised to see me being satisfied with simple meals such as yogurt rice..

Also I expected myself to be drained of water and super-exhausted during Ramadan, but to my surprise I felt quite hydrated and energetic the full day..

Following which is the Iftaar (highly expected time of the day)
Usually when the whole idea of Ramadan comes into mind, what strikes first is not the concept of fasting,or the bounties of rewards that one shall yield...It always is the sumptuous meals of Iftaar that I and mostly all not-so-religious Muslims think of first..But this year did I realize the pleasure of Iftaar is not in eating heavy meals but in having few dates,a cup of water, some fruits and most importantly enjoying each one of them to the utmost..As the famous wording goes 'Little is more'...

But even if its not about following the Sunnah (Prophetic teachings) , breaking the fast with dates is the best thing one can ever have..

Then in my home we usually make a drink called 'Rose Milk', but I personally call it as 'Pink Fantasy'..Its made of milk, sugar and rose essence which is a thick pinkish liquid..(Never really a fan of fruit juices during Iftaar)

Then comes my favourite part : FRUIT SALAD.....yummmmmm
The variety of colors, and exuberant tastes just makes my soul gets replenished...

Somedays we also have rice porridge having a lot of veggies or meat..Which is also quite filling during Iftaar

Now that's all about my Iftaar delights but do remember to eat little and right food to keep you healthy throughout your fast....
