Drink of the day....

The first ever drink that I learnt to make was : Badam kheer...

It may and maybe be considered as a drink but surely does taste delicious and is simple as hell...

It also has immense health benefits..

Recipe as follows :

* Take 5-6 badams (almonds) and soak them in hot water for about 10 minutes..

* Peel off the almonds and grind them along with 2 tsps of milk in a mixer..

* Heat milk and add the grinded almond paste along with some sugar and saffron and boil the milk..

*Serve the badam kheer topped with sliced almonds cold or hot..

Happiee Cooking !!!!

Simple upma....

Though cooking being one of my favourite pass time activity to do, I have never really liked complex recipes with heavenly complicated measurements of ingredients...What I like the best is to cook from heart and cook something simple..One such recipe would definitely be making an UPMA...

In short its a recipe that brings back the homely atmosphere giving oneself the comfort of good old days and its a recipe that both the beginner and the expert always love and cherish....

So I thought of sharing broken wheat upma recipe...

Recipe as follows :

* In a pan,add oil,mustard seeds,curry leaves and onion..Fry until the onion turns transparent..

* Add required amount of water..The ratio of wheat : onion is 1:2

* Add required amount of salt..

*Mix the ingredients until the water level gets completely reduced and the upma begins to thickens.

* Serve the upma with chutney or sugar as per your wish...

Simple dish that satisfies the heart .....

Happiee Cooking !!!!

Note : I have used roasted broken wheat...

The Tollywood Holidayzzz

Back to home from long boring hostel days and this time the saving agent from boredom appears to be Tollywood movies...So here's a list of movies that I watched during this week..Also a short description regarding them...

1) Manam

One thing I love about this movie : EVERYTHING!!!!! This is THE movie to watch...It's full of family emotions but still is entertaining much....Loveddd it <3

TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY AND TIME

2) Andala Rakshasi

I really enjoyed watching Rahul Ravindran's acting...His characterization was perfect...Besides storyline was also somewhat acceptable..Inshort a good movie...

BEAUTIFULLY SCRIPTED

3)Neenu Naa Rakshasi

The whole movie's storyline was too much for me to take in..Rana looked good in the movie..Ileana as the killer wasnt so convincing enough..Could have been a better movie

ONLY FOR RANA AND ILEANA FANS

4) Aakasame Haddu

Perfect storyline about love and breakup..Really enjoyed watching it..Navdeep looked gorgeous in this movie as usual

REDEFINES LOVE AND BREAKUP

5) Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum

Storyline was not so much...But Rana and Nayanthara looked great together..I loved their pair..

WATCH ONLY IF RANA OR NAYANTHARA FAN

6)Uyyala Jampala

The lead pair looked good together..Though the story wasn't much but still was worth watching..

LIGHT HEARTED

Crazieee WorDings

Life is meant to be lived, enjoyed, partied and explored passionately...Life is not what lies within the four walls of one's home..It's what lies at the end of the horizon..So live life because you only have ONE..
Go crazy
Do the things you love
Take a break
Party hard
Do what you love
Live life according to your heart's wish not according to some old man's rules...
You were given this life to RULE not OBEY...

SO FREAK OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

BE YOU COZ THERE'S NOTHING MORE
  PLEASURABLE

Best of Wilde

My favourite collection of Oscar Wilde quotes.....

The truth is rarely pure and never simple.”

Women are meant to be loved, not to be understood.”

“Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.”

Society often forgives the criminal; it never forgives the dreamer.”

Live! Live the wonderful life that is in you! Let nothing be lost upon you. Be always searching for new sensations. Be afraid of nothing.”

“Yet each man kills the thing he loves,
By each let this be heard,
Some do it with a bitter look,
Some with a flattering word,
The coward does it with a kiss,
The brave man with a sword!
Some kill their love when they are young,
And some when they are old;
Some strangle with the hands of Lust,
Some with the hands of Gold:
The kindest use a knife, because
The dead so soon grow cold.
Some love too little, some too long,
Some sell, and others buy;
Some do the deed with many tears,
And some without a sigh:
For each man kills the thing he loves,
Yet each man does not die.”

NOW YOU SEE ME

If there is a film that I would never mind watching each day of my life and still not be bored then that is this movie : NOW YOU SEE ME

I never really understood how everyone in the film could excel in their roles no matter the screen space..The casting of the movie is what is the greatest thing about this movie...

I just love everyone in this team...The four horsemen just blow my mind off...This post is going to be purely one sided with no flaws so please don't mind..

DANIEL ATLAS introduction scene....OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved the movie from the first scene itself...His explanation about magic..His charisma, his voice, his phony arrogance everything was well put up...

I love the escape artist for one reason : She looks great...Besides I feel so sorry for her and Atlas's strained relationship...They both did look great together...

Atlas's interrogation scene was just very well played off...His showmanship works best everywhere....The way he warns Rhodes and later cuffs him up,everything was just very well portrayed..

The mentalist had a great time playing with Dylan Rhodes I must say....The way he kept trying to figure out Alma Dray's and Rhodes' life secrets were truly well picturised...

Jack Wilder...The only thought I had about Wilder until this scene was that he was CUTE....But the entire fighting sequence and this card scene gave his character more depth and him more value....

I loved the 'palpable tension' that these both share and the budding chemistry between them...Their love story was neatly entwined as the movie progresses...There wasn't anything weird or absurd about their relationship....

'I really liked that little french guy'....

If there is some one I hate in this movie it is him....But I guess that's what is his success...A antagonist should be hated shouldn't he??

And I never suspected it to be him till the very last....

NOW YOU SEE ME ......wish I always keep seeing this movie....

Last kind words

I am the sort of girl who even when the trailer of a horror movie is shown on TV, quickly changes channel and never ever dares to watch a horror movie...

But after joining hostel I got the courage to watch horror movies...But for the most part I keep my eyes closed... :P

So at home I decided to watch such a movie at broad daylight in order to flame up some spirit..So the movie I chose was LAST KIND WORDS

Well usually before watching any movie I either hear the entire storyline from a friend or read the plot in wiki..But after seeing this movie's poster I tried watching the movie without knowing the story beforehand...

Result : What a total waste of time...The movie had a sloppy screenplay according to me...I was too excited to see what happens when the boy discovers his new found crush is actually a ghost..But this wasn't a scary movie at all..It was like a romantic chic-flick for most part..It would have been more entertaining if there were more scary bits...They could have added more details to the screenplay..

HITS : I really appreciate the team for casting such a pretty Amanda..She really looks gorgeous..Never have I seen such a gorgeous ghost before...

GREAT MISS : I really think they should have cast some one else for the protagonist's role...The boy who played the role of Eli wasn't so good at portraying emotions...

CONFUSION : The girl who was the Eli's father's childhood sweetheart to the point that they were planning to elope..She dies and still remains young..Till this point my logic could hold up..But the same girl keeps hitting openly on Eli..I mean Eli doesn't know Amanda's origins..But was Amanda out of her mind..Does becoming a ghost make you also lose your sanity?..What I really couldn't understand is who does Amanda truly love - Eli or his father??
